Somewhat interesting little place for juices, salads and healthier fare. Prices are mid to high for the quantity and quality. My wife's salad appeared to be from a plastic bag from the grocer- not so fresh. My chopped salad with tofu was fine but extremely salty for some reason. The carrot apple juice was good. As for atmosphere, well... Sit inside if you want a/c but lots of flies landing on your food. Sit on the porch to escape the annoying cacophony of the juicer inside. Seems like they could move it somewhere away from the dining room! Won't be back. Disappointed.

im leaving the service out of the equation because i dont really care about it. this place gets really busy because its the only place of its kind in rehoboth and that certainly slows the service down a bit. moving on, the food and drink are excellent. what a change from the endless junk food of rehoboth avenue. (no hate, i do love grotto pizza and i love fries and caramel corn... in moderation.) its great place to start your day off on a healthy note. my favorites are the cantaloupe kiss (super refreshing juice, a blend of cantaloupe and watermelon and orange) and the scottish smoked salmon on a bagel. delicious, healthy, and light compared to other options at the beach. the place itself is very cute and home-like. not much waiting room if you are doing take out and waiting for your juice or food, but whatever.

I'm going to give this place five stars on what little experience I had. There were a lot of people when we got there, but since we were only two people, we managed to get seated pretty quickly... It seems like most of the people waiting were parties of 3 or more. This place is a bit crowded inside, but still very comfortable. The food looked delicious when I saw some of it come out. The juices looked delicious both when they came out and just the idea of them on the menu. The menu itself does not have a huge variety, but it has enough items that everybody should find something. Most of their stuff, when it can, comes from local sources, it seems. The seasonal fruit says it's local, and the turkey sausage says it comes from local farms as well. Now, the reason I'm writing this as "what I saw" is because, right after we ordered, a bird crashed in to a transformer across the street and blew it up, knocking out the power. Our waiter ended up giving us free coffee before we were told that we probably should just leave because the power company said it'd be over an hour to come out and fix it. The staff was very friendly, even after the emergency situation, which could've made them very frustrated. All in all, I'm sad I didn't get to eat here because the food looked and smelled amazing. But staff are really awesome, nice people and prices seemed pretty reasonable.

Service is slow and they can get overwhelmed during peak hours. Big fan. Can't believe I didn't write a review last time we were here a few years ago. Dropped by for lunch on the breezy porch. First lunch: Eastender (grilled cheddar on ciabatta with sliced apple and curry butter) and gf had the Superbird (turkey, swiss and veggies). I appreciated that the humble grilled cheese was dressed up with flavored butter, and my gf loved the turkey. Second lunch: The Great Tomato (mozz, veggies) and gf had The Barcelona (ham and swiss with dates). Very good. Both days we had a Chai Love smoothie, and the sandwiches came with a pickle and terra chips. Sad that we didn't get up early enough for breakfast. Love the healthy vibe.

In love with the chai love! Only regret, ordering a medium instead of the large - Will likely be back daily for the rest of my trip!!

I don't know how anyone could give this place a bad review. In an ocean-pardon the pun-of restaurants serving fried, unhealthy alternatives, this place is a slice of heaven. Their options are refreshing, unique and tasty. Breakfast and lunch leave you feeling ready to enjoy the beach, not wishing you hadn't eaten that. If there are any issues with seating or flies, it is because the locals and weekenders know this is the place to be for breakfast and they can't keep the door shut. If you have a complaint about the food...well that's more advocado toast and healthy Elvis shakes for ME!!!

We went here for lunch on Sunday because we heard great things. We got seated right away and they weren't busy at all. Maybe that's because the service is AWFUL. It took over an hour for us to get our simple sandwiches and salads. The server was so bad she never came to check on us and when she first told us my moms sandwich wasn't available she wasn't even able to explain why. The water was warm and there were flies EVERYWHERE. I'm not sure why they put the extra effort into having white table cloths either. The food was meh. I won't go here again. Our servers name was Zara.

I went on the recommendation of a friend. The food was good. The Crete brûlée French toast was tasty. Recommend highly,.the coffee was good. I just wish the juice was more veggie and less fruit and definitely more ginger, so not enough. If you are new to juicing then they are good but is hardcore juicer want it less sweet fruit based.

My favorite gem in Rehoboth for healthy options in this area. Great , friendly and prompt service and the best smoothies ! Love the outdoor patio, wish it was a bit bigger.

    (5)
  • Dennis K.

The smoothies are watered down. I'll spend $5.95 on a good juice because it takes a lot of beets and carrots and oranges and red bell peppers to make the juice described, but what I got was nearly see-through. The eggs grits and cheese casserole was just eggy polenta with a cheese slice.

Delicious sandwiches and salads for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Usually we don't eat at the same place twice on vacations but given the lack of interesting veg/vegan options at the beach we happily broke this rule.

4.5 Stars! A runner in Bethany Beach recommended this place to me (thanks Pete) & boy was he right on. Healthy food that actually tastes good. I met my family here after a run and had breakfast/ turned lunch time on a weekday. We tried the PB Banana shake with a side of turkey sausage & the house salad, french hen sandwich, vege burger, and Eco Chic sandwich. We also had a strawberry smoothie All were amazing and the service was fast. The only thing I was disappointed about was they only had whey protein to add to a smoothie as opposed to plant based powder. Maybe next time we visit they will have?

This place has real healthy and delicious food. Love the salads and their fruit shakes. A little on the pricey side but organic food can be more expensive. Definitely worth it.

I feel so badly giving less than stellar reviews to these types of places - I support small business trying to do "whole food" and healthy. Our server was nice. Great concept but not so great execution. The one word that just keeps coming to mind is bland. So very bland. I chose this place for the fact that it had "juice and smoothies". But I wanted a healthy green juice and 99.9% was fruit. Fruit juice, even this fresh kind, is almost pure sugar. There was one "green juice" that included apple & pear (along with spinach, kale, and cucumber. I got this juice with extra green and minus the apple. I have my own masticating juicer at home, as well as vein surrounded by good, fresh juice places in Seattle so I am spoiled. But man this needed a hit of something like lemon or lime. Even a pinch of sea salt (I do this to my juice at home, it's delicious.) I let my son get the "healthy Elvis" - berries and peanut butter. That was decent but it's hard to go wrong with fruit and pb. Coffee was ok but nothing to write home about and it kills me when they give you those little individual plastic containers of "half and half" versus the real deal. My quiche (the special - artichoke and Parmesan) was, again, so very bland. A pinch of salt and pepper and more parm would have done it some good. Side salad was ok. I tried a bite of my son's grilled cheese and was stunned that it, too, was quite bland. Grilled cheese is very hard to do wrong. It was like dry toast with melted cheese in the middle. Could have used proper grilled cheese treatment - good butter on the grilled sides of the bread. Even the cheese flavor didn't pop. I just don't know... It's a shame. My mom and aunt didn't say much about their food. They're easier to satisfy than me but they didn't exclaim and comment on anything which tells me it was the same old they're used to. I don't think I'd go back easily. If I were starving and couldn't find anywhere else to get something semi healthy, maybe.

A relief to find some healthy food amid pizza, soft serve and taffy. I had the Energy Elvis smoothie which consists of espresso, banana and yogurt. Invigorating! The young women who work there would benefit from some personality Improvement,

I've been coming here the last few years as my parents live nearby. During the summer months, it gets very busy. Expect a wait for breakfast or lunch on the weekends. The space is pretty small. I appreciate the variety they offer--vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. The food is good (not exceptional or best I've ever had) but consistently good, so it's a nice spot to frequent. Rehoboth doesn't have many other 'healthy' options downtown, especially for juices/smoothies. The staff is super friendly, but sometimes can appear overwhelmed as it's such a small space and usually very busy. Slightly disorganized at times, which is why I deducted 1 star. Overall definitely a good option for breakfast/lunch downtown!

We have been vacationing in Rehoboth Beach for years and never had the pleasure until today. Our lunch was delish! My daughter got a turkey wrap "songbird"and I got the veggie burger. Let me just say that I sincerely appreciate a well made real veggie (not beans) burger! Thank you so much for a lighter option.

Awesome hipster feel with nice people. There is outdoor seating under a rooftop that makes for a nice breezy rest before hitting up the boardwalk. If you want to be indoors, it's air conditioned and has a TV with a running channel of cute kittens and puppies! Plenty of Vegan veggie options and good selection of juices! I got the watermelon Mellon, tangerine juice press and it was so refreshing on the hot day it was. I also ordered the tofu scramble, which comes with a generous size salad! The onions on top of the salad were picketed which gave it great flavoring. I loved the tofu scramble! It had lots of veggies mixed it! Including Broccoli heads! My fav! I would order it again! My mom got a waffle and loved that too! Great experience.

  • Peter J.

Contrary to what the waiters may say, the "only way" this place does eggs is not "scrambled." It's whatever process produces a puck of egg that would be at home in coach on an international flight. The turkey/turkey pastrami/cheese sandwich is tasty and filling, but not particularly inventive. We also ordered the greenest of the juices (e.g., the one with the most veggies). It arrived with a faint green hue and tasted mostly of apple and pear. The decor is sparse. I see some reviews have described it as having a "hipster feel." Perhaps this refers to the volumes of the Encyclopedia of Philosophy propping up the TV in the corner? Or the fact that every menu item has a name? I wouldn't say it appeared as though much thought had been given to the layout or the decor. The juicer is in the same room as the tables. Because there are also quite a few tables squeezed into the not-huge space, it can get noisy when the restaurant is busy.

I honestly like this place. One day when my friends and I were walking around look for a place to have breakfast, we stumbled across this place. Because it was so busy, we decided to get their to go juice. It was so good that we decided to have breakfast there the following morning. We got there around 10ish and was seated fairly quickly in that environment. The waitress gave us our menu and took out orders and everything seemed fine. I ordered the a juice and I specifically asked them to take out the banana. I can't stand banana in juices or smoothies. If I have any, I want to stab my eye with a fork and cut off my tongue because it is so disgusting. Guess what. IT CAME WITH BANANA. DAMN IT BANANA. I felt bad and tried to finish it except it couldn't and I had almost the whole cup full. Ummm. That's the only reason for the one star. The sandwich was really good. Chicken wif cheese and avocados

  • Holly W.

My vegetarian husband and I decided to try Greenman because they have so many vegetarian and vegan options, a rarity in Delaware. We went on Sunday morning in mid-May, before the summer season and crowds. There aren't a lot of tables, but they have seating both inside and out. We went in to see if we should pick a table ourselves. The staff, despite being a foot in front of us, did not acknowledge us until, after about 3 minutes, we finally asked whether we should pick a table. That brings me to one of my biggest turn offs with Greenman: it's not my kind of atmosphere. That doesn't mean *you* won't like the place, but go in knowing that Greenman is all about the rich, white, yoga moms with $300 handbags and and golf dads with sun visors, their perfectly coiffed children in the latest jogger stroller. I'm a jeans and t shirt, struggle-with-my-love-of-processed-foods kind of gal, I'm fat, and I drive a 10 year old Buick. I realize that if I go to a vegan-friendly, organic-proud, pricey juice bar, there is a certain type of crowd to expect, and Greenman is the example. What I'm trying to say is that while it wasn't my crowd, it was exactly what is expected of a place like this, so calibrate your opinion of the atmosphere accordingly. I ordered an orange/[some other juice I don't remember]/grapefruit juice, which was really good. It tasted fresh and was a nice portion size, about 6-8 oz. The food, though, wasn't great. I ordered the sausage and grits. The turkey sausage links were dry dry dry and didn't have much seasoning. The grits... Well, it was an enormous square of flavorless grits, with a thin, Kraft Singles-sized slice of cheese melted on top. I'm not saying they *use* Kraft Singles, but that's what the cheese looks like. The grits could have used salt, or butter, or pepper, or anything at all to make them taste like SOMEthing. My husband got the GreenMan Tofu Scramble (organic veggies sauteed w/tofu & hearty red potatoes served w/fresh tomato salsa in a whole wheat wrap). He hated it. To be fair, he doesn't like squash (but will eat it when it's mixed in with other things) and squash was the main ingredient. He loves potatoes, but the potatoes were scarce. We don't even know what made the whole concoction turn neon yellow; my guess is tumeric or curry, both of which he likes. Whatever it was, the color was weird. Both dishes had a small salad of mixed greens, oil-based dressing, and watermelon. That was fine. We won't go back.

Yes, healthy options! Skip the Home fries and greasy eggs. Fresh food and non-traditional breakfast choices. Daily Quiches. Don't be surprised, there is no bacon! Farm to Table style. Many many smoothie and tea choices. Simple and light!

I love this place - they have great brunch options if you can rise outta bed before 12. They also have exquisite smoothies. I usually get the energy elvis - you gotta read all the was down the menu to find it - but it's coffee, peanut butter, and banana - with a little honey and frozen yogurt. If you rather something with veggies or fruits - they have that too.

I am always looking for healthy, organic, and fresh restaurant options and was thrilled to find Green Man. Juices are great. Food is mediocre at best. Service is HORRIBLE. I have eaten here multiple times in hopes that I hit it on an off day but I didn't. As you enter the restaurant there is never a friendly hello. The quality of the service is so bad that it honestly isn't made better by the food. I have come with friends and our meals were all brought at different times and it took 30 minutes to get a check. Not only did we not have silverware and took forever to get waters the waitress was unapologetic. I have gone for juice only and waited 25-35 minutes and there wasn't even a crowd! If you are so busy making juices maybe purchase another juicer! If there wasn't so few health food options in Rehoboth this place would be out of business.

One of the best veg places I've ever been to. Amazing salads and juices. Sit on the porch if you can!

  • Mary H.

Really great gem of a restaurant! We were happy to find it and will definitely return. Loved the variety of juices, local/vegan options, and the porch is fantastic! I don't recommend this as a place for larger groups, or impatient kids--the service was rolling but on the slower side. Perfect for a leisurely brunch, but not for those with kids. The other thing I didn't love was that a lot of the descriptions were out of date on the menu (and they had no fresh berries during brunch on a Thursday). The food was excellent, and we'll definitely be back!

  • Kelly G.

My chopped salad minus the tomato plus any other vegetable was delicious. Thank you, cook, for including garbanzos and pickled onion. That was tasty and beautiful. But what happened to the cucumbers and black olives? Oh well. Maybe it was a miscommunication. Communication is key in running a bistro. And it is awesome that the staff here has SUCH a good rapport between one another. However, when customers are waiting for their salads and smoothies and juices, it would be great if the staff would choose to focus on food prep and service, and hold off on having side conversations until later. I truly wish this juice bar the best in all its endeavors. [Original visit 8-31-13. ]

My ABSOLUTE favorite place in Rehoboth. I am vegan so I am assured I will have options at this place. My mom and I went to the beach for 4 days and ate here every day at some point. The lentil salad is huge and amazing! We just sat on the beach and ate it :) This place can get very crowded and is very small, but well worth the wait.

I'd probably give this place 2.5 stars which means it's probably down the middle of the road. This is your typical granola health food place, but not so much shunning the meat aspect. You won't get harassed by PETA but there are plenty of smoothies, and some vegan entries to make the rounds, while some sandwiches have turkey and ham. If you are into the smoothies, and liquefied organic greens then you will be happy here. Lots of fruit and if you are the adventurous type sweetgrass is here as well. The place basically sells sandwiches and salads, with a few of them panini pressed focusing on fresh ingredients, and quality baked breads. The product here is solid. It's good, don't get me wrong, the sandwiches on the house bread are full of crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes, with some interesting additions of turkey, to curried apple cheese and pear squashed between two loaves. My issue is the service. Look... you're making sandwiches... SANDWICHES... not cooking... it shouldn't take you 20 minutes to deliver a sandwich or even a few of them for a table... heck I had 4 people order smoothies and it took about 5 to 10 minutes for each person to get there's one after the other... it took forever just to get drinks, and this place is not big or that busy. seriously... Service here is a little indifferent if well listenable, but the product comes out at a snails pace. They really make you linger for what would normally take 8 minutes to throw some greens on a plate, on nice bread, with a little mayo and turkey and toss some taro chips on a plate, and a soggy pickle. Really.... If you want to linger and kill sometime, and your the healthy person then by all means come here. It's a good product, and it's also a good size for what you pay for, you wont leave hungry, but this place is just too lazy, and while it's decent, this is not a great sandwich place to run out and kill grandma to get to.

I was elated to find a veggie oasis in a seafood town. Regardless, Greenman was always packed. I ordered a grilled tofu sandwich with kale that was very tasty, very filling. I also ordered the Vegan Beast smoothie, which was okay but lacked that special something. I look forward to going back and trying more things.

3.5 stars... Came here for a juice and breakfast, partly because it was the most reviewed breakfast place in Rehoboth Beach and partly because I saw they had something called creme brule fench toast and just had to try it. When I arrived with my girlfriend they told us they didn't have any seats, until I pointed out they had a table for two free on their front porch. The service was hit or miss, as it was good in the beginning but non existant toward the end. I ordered a medium blueberry banana smoothie ($6) which was the best thing I ate/drank all week. It was amazingly tasty though perhaps a little too sweet for a breakfast drink as it tasted like blueberry ice cream. I also got the creme brulee french toast topped with strawberries ($10). This thing was giant, I really felt like a pig for finishing it. I was disappointed with the dish as it didn't resemble creme brule in any way. It should have been called bread pudding french toast as that's exactly what it was. A big brick of bread pudding where the bottom was soggy and gelatenous and the top had more of a baked crusty texture. It had a decent flavor to it but just didn't taste like creme brule or french toast. If you come here, stick with what they do well, healthy dishes and juices/smoothies.

Had high hopes for this place but was disappointed at both the food and the service. The beet salad had old wilted lettuce, nice amount of beets and a small dollop of cheese for $9.95. The tomato and cheese panini had little cheese, two slices of tomato with the stem connection intact (normally this first slice is discarded) and a few chips for $9.95. When we pointed out to the sorely waitress the tomato slices she made a slight apology and said that these slices should have been discarded but someone made a mistake. We did not have any of the juices but in my opinion the food is way over ated, the service is mediocre and the prices are high,

We were going to go to a nearby restaurant for lunch but it was closed. So we read the menu at Green Man and thought we would both like it. We couldn't have been happier that we found Green Man for our lunch spot instead! The staff were all very friendly. I ordered a fresh glass of the Green Man juice and it was soooo delicious. My wife and I each ordered separate sandwiches and we both thought they were fantastic. I got the Eco-Chic sandwich and it was so good I am going to have a hard time picking something else off of the menu next time. And there will be a next time because I will definitely want to go to Green Man again whenever I am in the Rehoboth, Dewey area again!

Great juice. Awful service. Waited 30 mins before a server came to our table. Server asked if we had been helped and I asked "well are you out server?" He seemed confused but said yes, I then told him he should know if we we've been helped. There are many other good juice places in the area...

Heard from my travelling companion from her friend that it was great... Service, first of all, was curt. Every request was denied. It's okay that there are no seasonal berries BUT when there's a request for veggies in your eggs (and I'm offered salad), lemon for water (none), frittatas (none)....there's a problem. ..."some" of the veggies and fruits "might" be organic for the juice. I juice organic produce at home so I should expect that quality when I purchase out. Waffle was okay. French toast was not tasty. Was it even challah? I like my scrambled eggs scrambled not prefab in some machine. And did our server even tell us her name? I did learn the names of the 27 flies who were there for a conference though. Smh. Overrated. Won't be returning.

Delicious, healthy, vegan and the beach. Yes, it's possible. Post an early morning workout or long night out on the town this cafe caters to healthy and delicious carnivores to vegans with fresh smoothies, juices and food. The quaint atmosphere in an old house 1/2 block from beach is only interrupted by the too loud juicer- but you know what you're getting. It's made right here! While cold in the winter, they're open for their first winter ever so I'll keep my coat on and await my vegan Elvis. Yummy

The menu outside had a nice variety of juices and the place is always busy so I was looking forward to a fresh juice. I got the greenman and was sadly disappointed. The place was busy as always and they asked me to step outside and said they would bring me the juice. That never happened. I went inside and saw my drink on the counter. I think it was basically cucumber juice. I can make better at home without the wait. I won't be back.

We stopped here, because my mom and husband wanted coffee and being vegan I knew I could get a quick bite to eat if need be (while the rest of my family) did their own thing. We decided to eat in, as it was around 1:30pm and we were all getting a little hungry. My mom just got a plain cup of coffee, and the Green Man's Duncan; I got the Mean Green (which was a chili-spiked tofu and a chai latte; and my husband got the Pomme et Cochon and a cappuccino. The server was super friendly and quick to refill our waters as they emptied. The food did take a little longer than I would have expected to arrive. My mom and I loved our sandwiches and the taro chips that came with them. My husband said his sandwich was mediocre (which is to be expected, because he ordered something on the sweeter side and he doesn't like sweet meat). The only real problem was the beverages. My chai was very bland and I thought it might be the almond milk. However, my husband's cappuccino was so watery and tasted so terrible he couldn't even drink it. Overall this place was good but I could see how it would get busy during the summer. I would go back again if I was ever in the area. The staff was outstanding and very personable. The owner even thanked us for visiting.

If you want breakfast here on a Sunday without a wait get here at 7:55am sharp. Great juicer special menu----I had the namesake Green Man-- and it was great. Nice food selection, but you'll have to add your own salt entirely. Enjoyed sitting out on the porch, but the chairs are a bit small.

Service: Excellent. Friendly, attentive staff. Food: Tasty! We had the Scottish Smoked Salmon, Homemade Quiche of the Day, Frittata, and French Hen (egg salad sandwich). Everything looked wonderful and tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. Wait: We went at noon on a Sunday, early May, during off-season. Place is small and cramped when full. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table for 4, but then the whole wave of diners cleared up and we were seated and attended to immediately.

I got the Greenman Juice and Superbird sandwich. Juice was good and sandwich was awesome. They didn't skimp in the avocado and it came with delicious plantain chips (and other types of chip that I'm not sure of). I love that this place is here to offer healthy options for those of us who don't want greasy fried boardwalk food!

The service is a little slow but it is definitely worth the wait. The food is so refreshing and amazing quality. It's hard to find a place that served this quality food for this price. The atmosphere has a really good vibe too. Really friendly and happy

Delicious smoothies, French toast is amazing, sausage and grits was lackluster and the service was slow and haphazard. Worth a visit if you have an hour to spend eating. Tip: it's not obvious but you seat yourself for dine-in.

Updated 8/18/2013 after disgruntled employee "Nate R." sent me this message - "So glad the Internet gave your prep ass a mask to talk shit about hard working locally owned business. Say it to the staff's face, be embarrassed...they're feeding children" Here's a permanant screenshot - s13.postimg.org/i0jd4ia0… Apparently, instead of trying to improve customer service, they just insult you.

Update- So, apparently, it's looked down upon to leave an honest opinion about this place if it's given low ratings. Instead of using constructive criticism to improve customer service, I received insults for writing my review. The guy even went through my other reviews that are completely irrelevant and taunted me. Seems like I wasn't the only one. Great job. Word of mouth is powerful publicity.

This was my favorite place to eat at Rehoboth Beach! I love fresh fruits and veggies and this place delivered! I came here 3 times during our weekend stay--which goes to show how much I enjoyed it. Please do at least try the GreenMan namesake juice. My bf didn't like it, but whatever it was refreshing what does he know? :) He did like that elvis drink with the peanut butter and banana. The breakfast was really good too! Try the creme brulee french toast (like everyone says). You won't want to hit the beach afterwards though. Also get the sausage eggs and grits casserole! I haven't had anything like it before and thought it was fantastic!

I pretty much go here for the smoothies, which are good but rather expensive for not huge portions. It's a nice location a little off of the main street hubbub and not far from the beach. Relaxing place to get breakfast. If I ever try their cafe menu and like it I could see adding another star.

The juices and smoothies are to die for! So refreshing on a hot summer day by the beach. The food was great! We sat outside, drinking our green juices, eating our healthy wraps, under the shade of the porch. Such a cute place!

If you just sit at your table you will think things are good. They are not. The first time I went here I had a shake, and the person making it told me it was 100% organic. But when I look behind the counter, I saw a regular, pasteurized milk. I also saw the person handling with his bare hands some ice cream for a shake. The second time I came here, I also had a shake, and question whether it was actually organic. Again, surprisingly, I saw the same in handling the ice cream in the same way. He was using his bare hands! (this may have been frozen yogurt). If the restaurant cleans up it's act, it could be very good. But it is definitely dirty.

The food was delicious and the smoothies are out of this world. Had breakfast there twice this week. Love the organic farm fresh to table menu. They have out door seating. We will definitely be back every year we come on vacation!

Really good. Not going to repeat everything everyone said, however two things bugged me big time: A 20 ounce juice should not come in a 15 ounce glass. I even asked when it came out "is this the 20 ounce?" and the water said "yes." I guess they were running low on salad, so when putting salad on everyone else's brunch plates, they really skimped on ours. I understand one can run out, however, one at least apologizes and possibly gives them something else in return. I didn't complain... it was brunch and I didn't have the energy.

I've visited my share of fancy, well-regarded brunch places, and I can easily say that the creme brulee french toast here easily competes with any of them. Absolutely delicious. I'm not big into the fancy juice scene, but the glass I did order was very tasty, if a bit expensive. But I don't care, I'd pay whatever for a glass of juice if I got to have the french toast again with it. Will definitely be returning here next time I'm in the area.

Very unfriendly to Asian customers. No wonder we couldn't find any other Asians in the place. First two waitresses refused to serve us. We had to wait outside for 15 mins. They refused to clean a table. Food was just mediocre . No kids menu. Not very family friendly. So overrated place. Definitely... we are not coming back.

I suppose I'm surprised that a place that offers health juices wouldn't have more vegetarian or vegan options. Not only that, but these few dishes aren't even labeled on the menu as being vegetarian or vegan (going to write the owner about this one). We sat on the outside patio which is cozy but a bit crowded. Our server was young and not the best- she forgot my iced tea, disappeared forever and when I asked her if the veggie burger was vegan she said, "It has ONE egg in it". I don't care if it has 1/2 an egg, just tell me it's not vegan. I had looked at the menu online before going and was interested in the tofu sandwich, which was of course, wasn't on the menu anymore. The server suggested I simply omit meat and cheese on other sandwiches but I wasn't about to pay $10 for a spinach or cucumber sandwich and was not in the mood for a salad. I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy the vibe much at this place but maybe it was just a bad day. The food was okay- I got the only vegan (non-salad) option for lunch which was a wrap filled with bulgar, chick peas, raisins and greens. Why anyone would put wheat into a wheat wrap is beyond me. Can you say carb overload? Still, it was tasty but I don't think I would order it again. Maybe next time we'll go for breakfast. Still, I have to admit it's nice to have a place that offers healthy juices in an otherwise greasy beach town. Too bad there is meat on just about every sandwich but I guess that's what the customers are looking for.

Out for breakfast. Pulled in by menu descriptions. "Organic range, and fresh". Friendly service, awful food.. cappuccino was water milk and coffee not warm. Received frozen dinner style waffles and quiche " which was the special". Just felt tricked. In there defense it is the end of the season on sept. 10. Won't go back.

The Greenman is a really good, organic, health food restaurant located in Rehoboth Beach. Don't let the health food concept scare you. After over-indulgence on Thrasher's Fries and Kohr's frozen custard your body needs a break and this is the place. Great salads, sandwiches, smoothies and organic coffee (not that I could tell organic from conventional). The service is great and the food is awesome.

Sometimes nothing tastes better than food thats actually good for you done right. This place is one of the best of this sort, blending uber-fresh ingriedients into really tasty sandwiches and juices that will leave you feeling content with everything in the world. Ok that garbage truck out front was a little less than cool but still. We tried the egg salad sandwich on a baguette, and the organic smoked turkey on wheat berry. Both were phenomenal! Simple, yet nuanced in their balancing of raw materials. We wanted the pulled organic chicken, but they were sold out... I gotta think that one's the bomb. I had the "Pure Power" juice which had carrot, ginger, orange, pineapple, and apple in it. Talk about smooth, had me energized all day. We sat on the front porch, which was clean and simple. Next time id like to try the rest of the place, we never even made it inside. Friendly staff too, who had all tried the things on the menu and had good recommendations. If you're bored of fried things, and weary of the generic try this place out.

I always research places before we visit them, and Greenman Juice Bar & Bistro was one of the lunch options that I offered up to my fiance while we were walking around the Boardwalk. We got there a little before noon and were able to sit outside since it was such a nice day - those porch tables filled up quickly. We were handed all of their menus, which was a bit overwhelming, but we didn't want breakfast again despite how tasty it looked. I was disappointed to find that the menu they had online was slightly different from what they handed me (I had wanted to try the quinoa salad), so I eventually decided to go with the Spring Salad that had mixed greens, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, artichoke hearts, asparagus, and chickpeas (I asked for their dressing on the side). My fiance had the Havana sandwich which had smoked turkey breast, turkey pastrami, swiss cheese, dijonaise, and pickle relish on ciabatta, with root vegetable chips. We didn't get any of their juices because the breeze while sitting in the shade made me feel too cold. When our food came out I was so hungry I dug in - and instantly realized they forgot the chickpeas. It took a little bit to get a servers attention, and for a second she didn't understand what I was telling her, but eventually brought it back to the kitchen and it returned with a heaping of chickpeas. How can you forget the protein part of a salad? Anyway, the salad was fine, but it seemed like the chickpeas were canned and the artichoke hearts were definitely from a marinating jar (maybe the asparagus too) because I didn't need the dressing with the amount of oil they were contributing themselves. My fiance enjoyed his grilled sandwich, but he thought that it was just a tad small, and in the end nothing too special. Overall, the food was solid, but not really worth a revisit. Maybe the breakfast is better, or maybe it was an off day since the servers seemed more interested in sitting inside chatting with one another.

Great healthy food to help me sit on the beach, eat, and not feel as fat. It was delicious even though the yelp menu was completely accurate. The place was packed however they seemed to help people quickly. The take out wait was short and the food seemed fresh.

The menu has a unique and wide variety of vegan offerings - so many it was hard to choose one. The food was lip-smacking, finger-licking, delicious! Decent prices too especially for a shore town. It's too bad they're not open for dinner. I'd eat there twice a day if they were!

I stopped here with my family and my brother's family which includes small children. While small inside, we found a couple tables for our group. I ordered the El Matador sandwich and it was awesome! The roll was toasty, and this balanced nicely with the mozzarella and artichoke hearts. I got an Energetic Elvis smoothie and that was excellent too. Everyone was happy with their food, and I definitely recommend this healthy, organic choice. Downsides: too many flies, and the bathrooms had a foul odor.

Healthy food?? Dreadful hygiene standards! Unwashed hands after handling used glasses unsafely. Handling cash and food simultaneously. Uncovered scabs on staff! No kidding!! Yuck! (These were the obvious violations.)

Good food, good-sized menu with a variety of options, good juice, nice little (4-5 tables outside, 4-5 tables inside) establishment. Reasonable prices for Rehoboth - almost everything is $9-$10, as compared to $15-20 for a meal many other places. Unfortunately two days when we arrived and inquired, they had "just run out" of the tofu scramble, the only vegan breakfast aside from oatmeal or a bagel. The sandwich I got on Sunday was also described as coming with sprouts, but apparently they were out, because it came with spinach instead, but this was never communicated. I'm not saying any of this is really unacceptable - this is a small restaurant in a small town, they're not going to have the same supplies as a Cheesecake Factory - but the level of communication needs to improve. Please just scratch things off your menu and/or tell people when they sit down or order that you're out of things. If you're starting the day and your menu is different than the day, maybe print up new menus? Your menus are just one-sided pages of paper. You should be golden on this. You can sell it! "Menu changes daily!"

What a great gourmet vegetarian option in Rehoboth! I've been here several times for breakfast and have always been delighted by the delicious smoothies and tasty eats. My favorite smoothie is the Perfect Peach, made with yogurt, peaches, banana and strawberries. Tastes like an indulgent milkshake but somehow it's a healthy fruit smoothie!? I've also had one of the breakfast sandwiches and found it to be very tasty. They have great outdoor seating on the front porch and some indoor seating as well. It's a little tight inside, so If the weather is decent I recommend siting outside. The staff is super friendly and prices are surprisingly reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. If you're looking for a healthier breakfast/lunch option, this place is a must!

I ordered the crazy French Toast upon the waiter's recommendation and it was "epic" just as he said. Gigantic, sweet, and topped with very fresh strawberries. A bit too much for one (normal) person, so I'd suggest sharing it with your girl. I got that and ordered a smoothie to go, then walked 20 feet to the beach, sipped on my smoothie, and took a nice long nap. "Epic" :)

I called to find out f they have a gluten free and egg free bread. The person who answered the phone said they have gluten free bread but not wraps and that he will check the ingredients to find out if it has eggs. He said that it was egg free. I asked who it's made by and he replied French Meadow Bakery. He was very impatient and not very nice. When I hung up I realized that I know that all french meadow's gluten free breads contain egg whites as one of the first ingredients. I called back and asked him if he was sure it was french meadows because I think they have eggs. he looked again and then said that the bread does have eggs. He was not apologetic at all and very rude. I am allergic to eggs so this is a big deal for me that they don't give out reliable info.

This place has good food and drinks but the service really is not good at all. Today was my third time here, and each time we have visited, it is obvious they are under-staffed with no one really "running the show". 25 minutes to get a couple juices. When at the beach a slower pace doesn't really bug me, but the pace of service here is just much too slow. They have/use ONE juicer. C'mon now...one juicer for "juice bar"? Most of the staff constantly seems overwhelmed and running in 5 different directions at all times. A little chaotic. If they had 2 or 3 more addt'l people working, two juicers and a General manager focusing on keeping things moving along for customers I feel they would be able to handle crowds much better and provide customers with a much better experience. I have to assume ownership is aware of these issues, but felt it important leaving an honest review about the issues at hand so they can be brought to light again and hopefully addressed by ownership. Speaking for myself, I won't be returning and will choose to patronize the other 10+ quality breakfast, lunch, etc places with similar food, but significantly better service.

We've been frequenting the Greenman for years, and I can't say enough wonderful things about them! On more than one occasion, we've driven all the way from Baltimore to Delaware just because we're craving Greenman. 1. They have a great selection of organic and vegetarian dishes (and free range meat for the carnivores in your life), 2. their breakfast is divine (try the creme brulee french toast), 3. their lunch is heavenly (my fave is still the Godfather), 4. their smoothies can't be beat (the green tea smoothie is addictive), 5. the staff is super friendly, 6. the owner is as sweet as can be (and some how he even remembers us when we visit, despite all the customers that frequent the Greenman as they're typically packed), 7. they have a terrific dog-friendly porch, or inside seating if you prefer, 8. they're in the heart of Rehoboth so they're walking distance from the beach, boardwalk, hotels, and shops, and 9. they always have an eclectic song selection playing with an aquatic nature video (jellyfish, turtles, etc) which really helps put you in a relaxed beach mood. Give them a shot. You *won't* be disappointed.

Let me preface by saying that I did not try the teas or juices. However they did seat us immediately on their front porch despite being crazy busy! This did not bode well however because it was a long wait for the food. My quiche of the day (artichoke parm) was delicious and I shared with my mom. The salad was yummy but for as little fruit that came along side they may not even mention it. More of a garnish than a side. Service was very slow but this seems to be the norm around here - at least for breakfast places - they just get so busy. Maybe someone needs to tell them how to pace their tables a little better. Either way the quiche and turkey sausage were yummy! Will def make it again when I come back. Very healthy, non-greasy alternative to the other diners in the area.

My favourite place to eat breakfast in Rehoboth. VERY healthy and delicious. During the summer months it is an ideal place to people watch. The breakfast wraps are delicious as are the grits. The one item that I ate this summer that I was not a huge fan of was the french toast...it was a bit TOO sweet and it was not cooked well enough (soggy versus crispy). Other than that, I have never been disappointed when I eat there and the service (although it is a small place and it is not unccommon off season for one person to be working there) is fantastic.

Me: Had waffles and green tea for the breakfast. Was good, but not much food for the price. The waffles were really thin which was unique. Think I'll go with the oatmeal next time. Wife: Had egg sandwich. Nothing to write home about.

Have been here a few times and love it. I actually work at a juice bar down south and we serve similar things. To the idiot "Ethan L": to properly make a smoothie or juice to order you have to cut and prepare produce, juice it in a certain order and make sure it tastes appropriate for the customer. This isn't as fast as pouring juice from a jug.. The same thing goes for smoothies--it doesn't take two seconds to make if you want to use fresh ingredients. My guess is you frequent a lot of fast food places or takeout joints where you can stuff your face with whatever they scrape up as fast as possible! To eat quality food is to appreciate that things that are made to order take more than 5-10 minutes. Go to Wawa if you are that impatient.

I am unable to rate Greenman due to the fact that on two separate mornings during my stay in Rehoboth Beach, the establishment was closed when my wife and I arrived for breakfast. I fail to understand how any establishment can advertise that they open at 8 am for breakfast; however, they were closed well after 8 am. The second morning we attempted Greenman for breakfast, the staff were on the porch at 8 awaiting someone with a key to arrive. Greenman lost our business twice. I would recommend walking a bit further and enjoying breakfast at Royal Treat. They open as advertised, are friendly, and they serve a great breakfast.

I was a tad skeptical going here, because I'm not huge on health food or juices. I came for lunch around 3 pm and though they were busy, we were seated immediately. If you are claustrophobic, this isn't the place for you. It looks more like the inside of someone's house instead of a restaurant, but that doesn't bother most folks. What is aggravating is that flies frequent the place, so expect a few unwanted guests to try to sit with you. They basically have sandwich options and salad options for lunch. I chose The Great Tomato, which was motz cheese on ciabatta with mushrooms, artichokes, and of course, tomato. It was seriously delicious, and more satisfying then a cheese steak. The chips it came with were awesome also. Another morning I came for breakfast and got the creme brulee french toast. Oh my god. It was the most delicious breakfast I ever had. I can't say it was the most nutritious because it was so sweet, but I loved every last bit of it. Some of the dishes disappointed my friends, so I can't say this place deserves a perfect five stars, but I really enjoyed my experience here.

Charlie and I totally lucked out here. It was pretty crowded but the table gods were smiling on us that day and we walked right in to a seat. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but i settled on the tofu scramble. It was delicious, and healthy. Charlie's fresh squeezed OJ was amazing too. We will definitely be back next trip to the beach!

Came here for breakfast around 8:30 on a Friday morning in August. Ordered breakfast sandwich with local turkey sausage on wheat berry toast. Very good and so filling I had to take 1/2 of sandwich home. Coffee was excellent. Fresh squeezed oj very good. A little disappointed that we were charged for coffee refills ( almost $2.50 each).

I have been coming to our family summer home in Rehoboth Beach for over 20 years - so I love all the usual "local" favorites. However - I just discovered this place and it is AWESOME! I had lunch there that included a fantastic, fresh fruit smoothie and the Eco-Chic sandwich ( although it was tough to decide because all of them sounded good!). Will definitely be back!!

The smoothies are delicious, healthy, and filling. What a relief this was after a week of pizza, burgers, & sugary cocktails. My only critique (and this goes for a lot of organic places, so maybe it's personal taste) is that the food was a little bland. If you ask me, the egg salad could use a few more herbs & spices. It's still a great lunch option if you're looking for something healthy.

This is a tiny restaurant (I can only imagine how busy it is in the summer time) with thoughtful, genuine service. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I kind of wish, based on their healthful menu, that they had more vegetarian options. I think they only had one in each category. So they had a veggie burger, a veggie wrap, and some salads. The rest were salmon and turkey and beef. Maybe I want too much; they were still quite good. I had a veggie burger and it was homemade, huge, and came on two slices of toasted grain bread. It was very tasty. They sell tea by the tiny pot, which is adorable, and they have a juicer constantly in motion to make up your juices from your wildest juice imagination. They also have a wide selection of tea lattes and coffee drinks. I really liked the tea choices. I got "Sassy Spice," which was something like ginger, chicory, and some other herbal flavorings. Green Man was pretty cute.

We just finished breakfast and enjoyed the organic vegetarian wrap and the spinach quiche. Good coffee. Good service. Restaurant was full and engaged. Nice to have an organic vegetarian choice in our summer resort area during the slow winter months. Minor point: need raw sugar in the sugar bowls at the table.

We tried breakfast here and were quite pleased. The quiche of the day (a zucchini basil variety) was excellent in both flavor and texture. The crust did not taste homemade, but was tasty nonetheless. We especially appreciated that the salad it was served with was more than just some field greens thrown on the plate-- it included cucumber and tomato and a nice light oil/vin dressing. Unfortunately the fruit served on the side was only a few blueberries and a strawberry half. I tried the "sausage and grits" which sounded like a kind of combination of sausage gravy and grits. It turned out to be a kind of egg/grits casserole... almost like polenta, with 3 sausage links on the side. Though not what I expected, it could have earned the 5 stars had the dish itself been more flavorful... salt, pepper, herbs could easily have brought it out of the doldrums. Though I guess if you like hot sauce or ketchup on your grits/eggs, this dish would have been great. Not for me though :/ For the future, Greenman, may I suggest chopping that sausage and including it in the egg/grit casserole? Everyone at the table next to me ordered the french toast. Holy God did that look ridiculous. A giant mound of bready, sticky-bun-looking goodness. At that moment, I really wished I craved sweet more often than meat! Didn't try any of the smoothies because we were on a coffee fix, but the refills were prompt and the service friendly. A must try if you're looking to get away from greasy boardwalk food for a bit.

I had the tofu scramble and the husband had the creme brûlée French toast. We both ordered the green man juice. Juice was great, creme brûlée was great, and the tofu scramble was really good-needed a little extra sauce on top. There weren't a lot of vegan options, but the set up was relaxed, the service was good, and they did offer more meat free options than the other restaurants we visited in ocean city or Bethany beach. Also, breakfast is served until noon!!! I'd definitely go back.

My wife and I have been going to the beach since we were kids, and have probably eaten at every restaurant in the greater Rehoboth/Dewey area. Green Man was JUST what the beach needed! This place has some of the absolute best breakfast in town.. we've been back 3 times in the last month, it's that good. All of the food is organic and fresh, but the price isn't increased just because it bears that label.. it's very reasonable, very delicious, and has consistently impressed us every time. We typically get the breakfast sandwiches along with a fresh juice or smoothie, and recently took some friends along who had the same reaction. The service is friendly. The only "negative" (if I HAD to say something) is that it's somewhat small, so if you are there on a busy weekend, plan to wait a little while, but it will be 100% worth the wait. Definitely check this place out!

This place serves a pretty amazing brunch. I was expecting the smoothies to be great (and they were), but the french toast was surprisingly amazing. I would give this place five stars except it's probably a little more expensive than I would like, but Greenman is definitely worth visiting!

Smoothies great. Service Bad. Waiter must have been new. It's the guy with the purple horse tattoo on his left forearm. So just beware for the next month or so after this posting. I'm assuming he'll get better as time goes on. Our first smoothie ordered took 20 minutes. Every one of our 4 orders was wrong. He forgot to ask us what type of bread we wanted with our orders. We asked him if anything would be out. He said "no" because the delivery truck was outside. (This was Monday, Sept. 5 at 10:45am) But then when we ordered Sausage and Grits, they were out. The 2 of us asked several times for waters and never got them. We ended up sharing with the couple we were eating with. We also didn't have silverware or napkins until we asked him and that was AFTER we received our food. We ordered more food and he took it to the wrong table. We enjoyed our food/drink and company and of course didn't want to cause trouble or get our food spit on so we didn't complain. We only left cash for our bill for fear we might be delayed by another 20 minutes. It's probably the worst service we've ever had. (Oh and someone left poop in the toilet in the women's bathroom but I guess that's not really the restaurant's fault, but still, it didn't add to our displeasure.) Nice location. Smoothies Great. This is more of a take-out place for smoothies because the service can be bad and slow. Wrote on the FB page for this place (nothing too bad just told him his food and smoothies were good but our waiter was awful), owner responded to me and apologized but then erased my post.

If you are in Rehoboth for Breakfast, Greenman is the place to start. It takes a long time to get an order to go, so I place a smoothie order, go over to Dave and Skippy's across the street and get a breakfast sandwich, and by the time I get back to greenman, my smoothie is ready. My favorite smootie is the Elvis one. It's very good. Like a breakfast Milkshake.

ahh, it's too bad this place is across the country because I'd come here everyday!! so this place is organic/vegetarian... they have a variety of different sandwiches, salads, and burgers.. they even have an ostrich burger! i ordered a superbird, which was a safe sandwich.. organic turkey, lettuce, avocado, cheese.. the basics... was really good, you can taste the difference since it's so fresh! i also had a pure power juice with my meal.. which is apple, pineapple, carrot, ginger, and oranges.. freshly juiced.. it's a very nice mix! my sister ordered a green man juice, which was better than mine.. it had kiwi and spinach juiced.. with some other fruits. my mother ordered a special.. which was a meatloaf burger.. looked really good and big, she enjoyed it! honestly, i wanted to try the whole place out.. but my stomach can hold so much! i think my favorite part was the side of chips, with different types of potato.. oh, by the way.. service is great! Delicious, fantastic, healthy fare. Located in a small Victorian a block or two up from the beach, Greenman is pretty darn adorable with a café set-up and seating on the large front porch and inside. This place is always busy so expect a wait. Service is a bit curt with the amazing ability to be both rushed and slow. But the food makes it entirely worth a visit. The menu is overflowing with healthy, delicious options. The smoothies are among the best I've ever had. They're flavorful, hearty and heavenly. Options abound from fruity goodness to a caffeine or sweet kick. We both got tomato-mozzarella based sandwiches. The sandwiches are large. The ingredients are wonderfully fresh. Thoughtful additions like tapenade and artichoke hearts added some great flavor. The ciabatta bread and side of vegetable chips were really delicious. To our dismay, they appear to be closed on Mondays.

Tried to have breakfast and stopped in over Columbus Day weekend. We entered an almost full restaurant and waited in the crowded space with two other women. No one greeted us or informed us we would have to wait for a table. The kitchen and wait staff seemed to be out of sync. We left after about 5 minutes. Maybe we'll try again next time we're in town.

I went to Greenman at around 11:30 on a Friday, so I was able to choose from both their breakfast and lunch menu. The juice and drink menu was great and I appreciated the vegan food options, but thought that the variety could have been a bit better. I ordered the tofu scramble, which was very yummy, had a nice amount of veggies in it and came with an excellent amount of lettuce. The service was good and the place has a very laid back vibe. Would definitely return for a healthy breakfast or lunch.

Ok. Seriously. This place is FREAKING DELICIOUS. The sandwiches are healthy, fairly price and creative. The juices are phenomenal, and one of the smoothies we got was the best I've ever had. Also, major props to Courtney, our server who was so attentive and friendly. If I were to ever open up a cafe, I'd want her to staff my joint. Don't pass this place up if you're in town -- it's a hidden gem.

Fantastic juices made fresh when you order. My favorite is the Super Juice which consists of beets, carrots, spinach, apples, and bell peppers. Sounds intense but it is delicious! Breakfast and lunch are great too. Two tips--don't come if you are you are in a hurry and be sure to call first because sometimes they are closed for no apparent reason. If it weren't for the random hours it would get 5 stars for certain.

Had breakfast here with friends before hitting the beach one morning. I had the broccoli and cheddar quiche with some greens and fresh fruit on the side- delicious! The fresh juice was amazing as well, a little pricey but totally worth it. I only wish I lived in Rehoboth and could eat here every morning! Light yet satisfying breakfast and very friendly service- 5 stars ;)

Likely the only breakfast in the area that isn't entirely pre-made. Delicious, nutritious, and a welcome break from cookie cutter beach food

Great food and juices, friendly staff, nice decor, but always feels crowded. Good for a summer week day or end of beach season visit.

This is an organic bistro- with an amazing list of fresh juicers. The guy there throws all kinds of fruits/veggies into a juicer machine and whips it into such a delicious FRESH juice! The sandwiches like the Eco-friendly sandwich (with chipotle mayo, red onions, cheddar cheese, whole wheat bread, tomatoes, avocados) are SO good too! The restaurant's environment is so comfortable- a real natural feel to it. Dining out on the patio is so nice, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Dogs are allowed on the patio too! Next time I return, I'm so curious about trying out the creme brulee french toast dish! The service is fast and smooth, and the servers are so friendly. I love this place!

The kitchen at Greenman needs a little work! I loved the menu and loved that there were healthier and veg options. The restaurant was mostly empty when we visited around lunchtime on a Thursday and there were so many waiters wandering around it was comical. ... But the wait for the food was sooo long it was very hard to justify. We had only ordered simple grilled sandwiches -- and one salad -- so I don't know why the wait was soo long? Eventually, after a very long wait, they brought out the food my very young children had ordered (a peanut butter and banana sandwich on wheat bread) but they had completely finished their meal before we finally got ours. Plus, they served me slices of RAW POTATO on top of my soba noodle salad which was gross. I ate some of it before realizing that's what it was. I wanted to give this place another try later in the week, but my family members refused, fearing another long wait.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning. I live just behind GreenMan's and the smell is intoxicating every morning. Finally popped in for a meal. This will be a hard place to avoid. The quiche was amazing and the staff is super friendly. Can't wait to try the waffles!

What a great find! I ate here three times in two days--once for breakfast and twice for lunch and everything was tasty and very fresh. Interesting and delicious sandwich and salad combos along with fresh squeezed juices and smoothies. Many items are organic, free-range, fair trade etc. Relaxed and funky atmosphere with friendly service. Decent prices. A great option amidst all the typical beach junk food.

my wife and i have been going to green man for along time and i can honestly say we have never been disappointed with anything,i do question some people who whine about the slow service its the nature of the business fresh ,healthy, food so you have to wait, what a refreshing concept, NO FAST FOOD HERE!!!! all the staff are wonderful a credit to the owners, continue all the good work, for sure the best breakfast in rehoboth a must see place when at the beach Howard-linda Blyth.

wife and i visited on 8/23 around noon. i ordered the power punch juice drink and she ordered a smoothie. the juice was watered down at best. the smoothie was comparable to bland buttermilk. to make matters worst the cashier rudely told us to wait outside b/c someone would bring us our drinks. 20 min later after waiting in the sun i returned to find our drinks sweating on the counter. and while they had a few customers they were no where near busy.

If you are looking for a fresh, hip, quick bite to eat, you should stop by this place! Nestled in an aged house, one street of the main street it is in a prime location if you are walking around the shops or coming off of the beach. Try to grab a table on the porch if you can; if not, the inside is painted a bright green color and with the big windows, you get the illusion of sitting outside anyway. It is a very casual and young atmosphere, serving healthy smoothies and other surprising drink concoctions. I took my mother there for a Sunday brunch, and unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11, but the lunch menu is great! The one of a kind recipes are fresh and presented well. Try the highlander sandwich if you like smoked salmon. Service was also great; all of the waitresses were cheerful and pleasant. Prices are reasonable for the type of food and presentation.
